Sweet Slumber

The view from my corner of the couch….of course, like normal sisters they fight like cats and dogs. But at the end of the day, here they lie, Hannah’s back curled into Emma’s chest. Emma’s arm wrapped protectively around her little sister. Each taking comfort in the others touch and closeness, deep asleep in the safety of sisterhood.
Some times I don’t see all the sweetness that happens in life. Life is busy and loud and very fast paced. I am so happy I slowed down enough to catch this moment in their lives. The picture of them in slumber will stay with me forever and they will have no idea how precious it is to me. Did you catch the sweetness of your children today?
